ROMAN PIERCE was born and raised in Syracuse, NY.  He was the youngest of six siblings in a traditional, working class, Italian-American family.  As the youngest sibling, ROMAN was constantly subjected to ridicule and humiliation at the hands of his brothers and sisters throughout his entire childhood.

After graduating from college with a degree in Criminal Justice, ROMAN realized that his career choices were limited to lawyer, police officer, probation officer, or correctional officer.  Since he was too honest to be a lawyer and not corrupt enough to be a law enforcement officer,
ROMAN decided to pursue a career in stand-up comedy.

ROMAN began performing stand-up comedy in March 2005 at Nick's Comedy Stop in Boston, MA.  From September 2006 to December 2008, ROMAN produced one of Boston's best open mic comedy shows at the Vegas Lounge in Norwood, MA, where he hosted weekly showcases that featured some of the most talented stand-up comedians in the Boston/Providence area.

ROMAN was the winner of the 2009 Rhode Island Comedy Festival, as well as the runner-up at the 2008 'Catch A New Rising Star' comedy competition at the Catch A Rising Star comedy club in the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, RI.  ROMAN was also a finalist at the 2007 Aloha Comedy Festival and 2009 South Shore Comedy Riot.

On stage, ROMAN offers his views on odd news and events, relationships, parenthood, television, and growing up in a dysfunctional family.  His unique analysis of everyday life experiences, mixed with clever observations, promises to provide audiences with continuous, side-splitting laughter.
